Mercedes-Benz solidified their reputation for building luxury with the introduction of the SL class, 2 seater convertibles. Once behind the wheel of one of these fine touring convertibles, you can feel all of the quality and excellence that went into developing and producing these vehicles. During the restoration, the 4.5L V8 and transmission were both rebuilt by Charles Mong from Indianapolis, Indiana. This 450SL runs and drives just as it should.
