Up for sale is a one-owner 1970 Ford Mustang MACH I SportsRoof. Purchased by the present owner on January 20,1970 (documentation can be presented upon request) and is in overall very good condition. Vehicle was built at the Ford Dearborn Assembly Plant with the MACH 1 options plus power steering, power front disc brakes, rear deck spoiler and an AM radio. Car has all of the unique MACH 1 items still installed “Shaker” hood, aluminum rocker molding, honeycomb rear panel, special bucket seats, rim-blow steering wheel, center console, and an electric clock. When purchased new, owner had the vehicle “Ziebarted” for rust-proofing. Engine has been completely rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago. added several aftermarket items including: an aluminum intake manifold, Holley four-barrel carburetor, a radiator overflow tank, an electric cooling fan, a Mallory ignition system, several polished/plated engine dress-up items, dual FlowMaster mufflers, and Shelby-style ten-spoke alloy wheels. The car was repainted in the original color about 10-12 years ago and is still in excellent condition. When repainted, the driver’s door-mounted “Vehicle Certification Label” (or VIN label) was painted over with the tire inflation pressure label covering it. Chassis is in driven condition with no serious problems. Car has won many trophies, runs very well and has always been maintained to a high degree. Car is completely road worthy and in excellent condition.
