The 350-cu.in. two-barrel V-8 “has not been rebuilt, it runs beautifully, and doesn’t smoke, but as with most GM engines of this era, the rear main seal weeps.” A chrome-plated air cleaner and rockers covers have replaced the stock items, i assure that the Turbo Hydra-Matic 350 three-speed automatic transmission “shifts as it should.” “There’s no rust that I know of,” ! and he adds that the car had one repaint in its original color around 2001. Its finish is described “very good,” but it has a few small paint chips. The convertible top is described as in “as new” condition. The windshield has been replaced, and the rest of the glass is “very good,” as are the seals, and all the lights work correctly. The interior has been updated with tweed upholstery patterned to match the original, because i “didn’t like sitting on vinyl seats.” I did, however, save the original vinyl seat covers to give to the buyer. The instruments and heat work. The carpet’s condition is said to be “excellent.” Less than three years ago, a set of 17-inch YearOne aluminum Pontiac Rally II wheels with Hankook tires, sized 255/40ZR17, were installed, and they have less than 1,000 miles on them !
