This 1968 Ford GT500KR GT500 GT 500 KR Shelby Mustang is an original. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. The car was largely original, but had been used apparently for racing at some point in its life. The intake was replaced for a lighter, aluminum Edelbrock. The carb and heads were modified. The center console has been cut out of the interior to make room, and the shifter had been replaced with a Hurst T. All of this was corrected in my restore / rebuild in 2018, with exception of the correct c8of-9519-aa carb which was only recently found with the correct date (May 68; the fully restored carb will be on the engine before the sale). All window panels appear original with Car Lite watermarks .
