For sale is this beautiful 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback GT that has been retrofitted with a late model 2014 Mustang GT Gen 1 5.0 liter Coyote v8 engine and a Tremec T45 5 speed manual. Transmission is freshly rebuilt with a Steeda Tri-Ax shifter and a balanced Spec clutch. Underneath it is fitted with a Mustangs to Fear independent front suspension with adjustable coil overs and Wilwood 6 piston disc brakes. The new dual exhaust goes from a set of Stainless Works long tube headers back to a set of Dynomax mufflers and wraps over a fresh rebuilt powder coated 9 inch rear end housing with Strange aluminum center section, 3.70 gears, locker, and Wilwood discs on the rear. Interior is all new and fresh, including a custom leather wrapped GT500 steering wheel with custom Bullitt horn button, Retrosound radio with power antenna, Vintage Air A.C. and heat, and Dakota Digital gauge cluster. Paint is the correct color of Highland Green as the car came originally and shows very well. It does have the original Marti report to verify it is the correct color and a true GT, originally a J code 302 with a 4 speed. Rolling on 17x7 and 17x8 Amercian Racing Torque Thrust wheels and new tires. This car is precisely tuned and runs/drives down the highway as well as a new one.
