1965 Ford Mustang A-Code GT! The restored 1965 Gold Mustang GT with the gorgeous and rare gold bench seat interior. It has the long hood and short deck that proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition including the Camaro, Firebird, Cougar and others in the sixties and this one looks super in Honey Gold with that gold interior! Our Mustang has the C Code engine per the Vin #5F07A765121 which was a 289 cubic inch with a 4-barrel carb. This is a real deal "A" code Mustang and that means it left the factory with this 289 V8 rated at 225 horsepower and 305 ft. lbs. of torque. It has the correct factory shade of gold painted air cleaner assembly and valve covers with the block and factory intake painted black. It also looks very original with the carb, fan shroud, cast iron factory exhaust manifolds, all the correct hoses and wires, accessories, and all sitting in a factory correct engine compartment and backed up by a 4-speed transmission. Our 1965 has a refreshed interior that includes correct gold bench seat, which is very rare, and you may have never seen before. It also has the matching rear seat, gold carpet and gold Mustang logo floor mats, gold door panels and dash with all the correct factory gauges and speedometer, tachometer, radio, factory seat belts, and three-spoke chrome and wood sport Mustang steering wheel. The 1965 Honey Gold paint on our Mustang GT is nice and is complimented by all good chrome, 289 and Mustang emblems, factory chrome mag wheel hubcaps with thin white sidewall tires, and the black Mustang stripe running down the lower body on each side.
