This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu convertible was refurbished under previous ownership with a repaint in yellow over a refreshed black interior. Power comes from a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and features include a replacement black soft top, American Racing wheels, SS badging, a center console, and an AM radio. The car was delivered new in Regal Red (R), and under previous ownership the body is said to have been removed from the frame before being refinished in yellow. A replacement black soft top and SS badging have been fitted, and the paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below. Gray American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with bright lips are mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. Each corner utilizes drum brakes. Redone in black upholstery, the interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench. The black carpeting is fitted with Malibu-branded floor mats, and a console extends down the transmission tunnel. A Delco/Chevrolet AM radio is mounted in the factory location. A two-spoke steering wheel frames instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles.
