In place of the original 327 engine is a 350 small-block that’s been overbored 0.030-inch, to bring the displacement to 355-cu.in. It wears an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an HEI-type ignition system, and long-tube headers. The cooling system consists of a thick aluminum radiator and large electric fan. There are no starting or operational issues with the engine and that there are no leaks. The same goes for the four-speed manual transmission, which shift well. Additional drivetrain components include a 12-bolt Posi rear axle. the exterior of this Chevelle Malibu SS has been restored and the Mist Blue paintwork is “100 percent,” with no scratches, swirl marks, or other blemishes. No rust in the body, either. The glass and seals are also in “great” shape, with no scratches or cracks in the glass and no leaks with the seals. The exterior trim also appears in very condition, and there is no apparent pitting in the chrome bumpers. Exterior modifications appear to be limited to mildly flared rear wheel openings, to accommodate wider tires. Inside, the Malibu’s restored cabin is a mix of original and aftermarket upgrades, including new bucket seats, new carpet, and a new headliner, along with an upgraded wood-rim steering wheel mounted on a tilting steering column. The door panels and dash pad appear to be in excellent condition ! The chassis, suspension, and braking components are in good-performing condition, with no known issues or needs.
