Description

For your consideration is this exceptional 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 dr Post. This style and design has proved to be one of Chevy's most timeless models, and GM's first real factory hot rod muscle car. Equipped with a 409 V8, Muncie 4 speed manual transmission, Posi Rear, and a recent Complete Nut and Bolt Body Off Rotisserie Restoration. Everything on this car has been done! Its like going back in time to 1962 and buying one off the showroom floor! Make no mistake, this is one of the finest examples in the country! The beautiful Base/Clear White Paint shines at any angle with much depth and gloss. Undercarriage is just as spectacular. Very clean, original, and straight. No issues, surprises, holes, rust bubbles, shoddy patch panels, etc. Appears to retain all original floors. Has a satin painted finish. You could put mirrors down at car shows and be proud. All of the chrome, stainless, emblems, and grill show very well. They have all been polished, chromed, or replaced. Interior is new, and virtually flawless. All new factory style red upholstery, seats, door panels, carpet, headliner. The dash is painted red and it literally hurts your eyes just looking at it. Has such depth and clarity. She rides, drives, and handles just as it should and better than new; straight down the road with no shimmies, shakes, or vibrations. I cannot emphasize enough how she rides and drives like a newer car. Extremely tight and easy to drive for any size or aged driver. I would not hesitate getting behind the wheel of this car with my family and drive it anywhere. All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges, etc are functioning properly. This is a non numbers matching car, however restored to factory specs as if you walked into a Chevy dealer is 1962 and bought it off the showroom floor.
