It was the product of a complete restoration resulting in a wonderful example of a super nice driver. It sports its original color combination of a Tropical Turquoise exterior and Black/Turquoise interior. The car is powered by a 283 4-barrell V8 and Powerglide transmission. With a slight rake in the stance and a custom dual exhaust system it has a tiny bit of Hot Rod in its DNA. This vehicle has been recently been completely serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that is included. This Tri-Five Chevrolet is the definition of an American classic car! As the original VIN tag indicates this vehicle was built in Kansas City, MI as a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door hardtop with a V8 engine. As the original Trim tag indicates it has a single Tropical Turquoise exterior and Black/Turquoise interior. As the clean Arizona title indicates it was first registered in March of 1957. This car was completely restored from top to bottom. It was completed around 2013 and driven a total of 2,423 miles since completion.  The exterior of this car is once again, total eye candy with it’s it gorgeous body lines and color combination. The body and gap lines are very nice. The hood and doors close smoothly. The exterior was painted in its original color of Tropical Turquoise. The decision was made at the time of the restoration to paint the top India Ivory. The two colors together look stunning and add character to the appearance. The beautiful paint was recently color sanded, compounded, polished and waxed to a brilliant shine by MS CLASSIC CARS. The front windshield was replaced new. The car is equipped with two painted fender skirts that are included. All of the remaining original factory E-Z-Eye stamped glass is in very good condition throughout. Everything on the exterior was restored or replaced such as the antenna, mirrors, hood rockets, headlight bezels, hood trim, bumpers, door handles, side moldings, taillight bezels and emblems. The car is dressed with a gold grill along with gold emblems on the hood, front fenders, quarters and rear trunk lid. The car sits proudly on 14” steel wheels that were painted Tropical Turquoise and decorated with chrome hub caps. The wheels are wrapped with Coker Classic white wall 205-70-14 tires.  The interior of this car is simply fabulous with its two tone Black and Turquoise original color combination. The cabin is spacious and the bench seat is comfortable. Everything in the interior has been restored or replaced such as the rear view mirror, dash, gauges, knobs, steering wheel, door hardware, upholstery, pedals and carpeting. It’s equipped with a traffic light finder, tissue dispenser, modern Wonder Bar radio, under seat speakers and factory style rubber floor mats. Everything in the interior is in working order with exception of the clock. The rear trunk compartment was painted Tropical Turquoise and the jack instruction sticker was added. It’s equipped with a matching full size spare, jack tools and factory style rubber mat.  The engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout with many correct parts. The backside of the hood, inner fenders and radiator support were painted in satin black. The firewall was painted in Tropical Turquoise. The car is powered by a rebuilt 283 V8 that was factory rated with 220HP. The engine stamp F722FC indicates a 283/220HP 4-barrell V8 with powerglide that was built on July 22, 1957. During this time frame the vehicles VIN number wasn’t stamped on the engine so it’s impossible to document if the engine is original to the vehicle. In this case, based on the engine stamp it’s believed to be the original engine to this vehicle. The orange Chevrolet embossed valve covers and black air cleaner look great. It’s equipped with a new Edelbrock 600CFM carburetor, Russell fuel filter and electronic ignition. It has many correct GM hoses and clamps. It’s cooled by a new correct style radiator that works excellent. The engine breathes through factory manifolds, a dual exhaust system with custom mufflers and chrome tips. The exhaust system produces a really nice sound with a slight rumble. The engine is coupled to the Jasper rebuilt power glide 2-speed automatic transmission. The power is transferred to the factory rear end. It’s equipped with factory power steering which also works excellent. The undercarriage is very clean throughout. During the restoration the floors and many parts were painted black. Everything was restored or replaced including the fuel tank.  It’s equipped with factory suspension and Treadle-Vac power brakes. The rear suspension is slightly raised over the factory height to give it a slight rake that makes it have a perfect stance.
