1950's Pickups have never been more desirable than now and this step side is a perfect example of a built-to-drive classic. With Vintage Air Conditioning, brand new radial tires, brand new American Racing wheels, four wheel disc brakes and a reliable small block Chevrolet engine, it's ready for any open road. That's not all. The fit and finish is about as good as it gets. All the panels align as they should. The gaps are perfect throughout the fenders, hood and the doors. The sheet metal is laser straight (see photos). There's not one scratch, ding or ripple in any of the sheet metal. The paint finish is a high quality, professional two stage finish that has been wet sanded and polished. Obviously, no rust! The chrome bumpers have been re-plated and are very presentable, as well as the grille. As you can see in the photos, the bed was completely restored with a new wood kit. The underside shows nicely with a powder coated frame, rear differential and stainless steel gas tank. This was a complete build with careful attention to detail. Moving into the interior, it was tastefully refinished with a tilt steering column, LeCarra steering wheel, after market in-dash stereo, comfortable bench seat with plenty of leg room, seat belts and the best part...... ice cold air conditioning!!! Under the hood is a reliable small block Chevrolet 350 with an automatic 700r transmission and shift kit, Holley four barrel carburetor, serpentine belt system and dual electric fans. All of the suspension has been rebuilt and it rides perfect. It has a Camaro front clip with numerous hours and money in the chassis. It has Flowmaster exhaust and they're very mild.
