1955 Ford Thunderbird Roadster Prototype Tribute. This extremely rare car is one of only 4 Thunderbirds in the world with Crown Victoria stainless steel molding styled after the original T-Bird prototypes. Another unique styling cue is the large window in the hardtop. The car is finished in beautiful Colorado Red paint accented by a body colored hard top and Red and White 2 tone leather interior. Our Thunderbird is powered by a 312CI Y Block V8 engine with 1957 intake, carburetor, and distributor. The shifting is done through an original style 3 speed manual transmission. Rear end gear ratio is 3.31 making it ideal for cruising. Other features include 56 T Bird wind wings, door latches, and sun visors as well as a power leather seat, fender skirts, Kelsey Hayes style wire wheels wrapped in brand new white wall tires, and front disc brakes with a dual master cylinder. The car was subject to a complete nut and bolt frame off restoration completed in 2009 and still shows extremely well today. The undercarriage looks just as nice as the top and the car drives extremely well. This is a truly unique vehicle that is sure to turn heads wherever it is taken and will definitely be the only one like it at your local cruise ins.
