Description

The 1952 trucks are one of the most popular trucks of all time is a surefire way to attract attention. Chevrolet broke away from prewar truck styling marketed as the Advanced Design trucks. They placed an emphasis on cab comfort and safety. For the 1952 models, stylists conceived the five-window cab, formally known as the Deluxe Cab, to eliminate the blind spots in the rear quarter panels of the cab. This allowed the driver to look over his shoulder to view the rear instead of poking his head out the window. Underneath the metal hood resides a 350 cubic inch small block Chevrolet V8 engine that provides a lot more power than the original six-cylinder. It is reliable and powerful with the addition of a performance carb, Polished Air Cleaner and Polished Valve Covers, Headers and Dual Exhaust w/throaty aggressive rumble, Performance Spark Plug Wires, Custom Radiator and Electric Fan, and Power Steering & Brakes with disc brakes on the front. It is mated to an automatic transmission so this truck just begs for the next rod run rolling on 5-spoke grey and polished mag wheels and black sidewall tires to finish the period custom look. Inside it has a comfortable bench seat wrapped in black vinyl and blue cloth that looks and feels great as you are driving. The blue painted dash has performance Stewart Warner gauges nestled into the wood grain and features black carpeting and Chevrolet floor mats. The tilt steering column is topped by a brushed aluminum steering wheel that really gives the interior an upscale feel with entertainment coming from a custom stereo radio system that's integrated into the dash. The great dark blue paint is applied over very straight bodywork and shines night or day. It has well-restored chrome and trim, the desirable 5-window cab, fresh wood in the bed is beautifully restored, and great front and rear chrome bumpers.
