The interior is finished in trim code correct factory original blue and gray cloth by Packard Motorcar Company in 1951.
The engine compartment is original showing inspection stamps and details which are forgotten or overlooked on restored examples.
The canvas A-arm covers are still in place!
The luggage compartment is original with signs of minimal use.The brown and gray Packard flocking is present throughout.
The Packard for 1951 was a whole new car. It had been under development since 1949 and cost Packard over $20,000,000. The Twenty Fourth Series Packard’s were truly modern machines.
The 200 Deluxe Packard’s were powered by a 288 cubic inch Straight Eight which was rated at 135 horsepower.
