The DB series in 1934 used a 206.8-cu.in. version of Chevrolet’s historic OHV straight-six. With a compression ratio of 5.45:1, the engine made use of a new-for-1934 cylinder head with better porting and larger valves, which increased the manufacturer’s rating to 60 horsepower. the engine in this truck is original, and that it has been rebuilt. No issues are reported with the unsynchronized three-speed manual overdrive transmission. The engine bay is stock and appears to be nearly spotless ! The paint on this DB is described as being in “excellent” condition, with no body blemishes. The grille and radiator shell appear to be in perfect shape. The cab seals are reported to be in “very good” condition. The glass is described as “excellent,” and all the exterior lighting is termed functional, including fog lamps and added turn indicators. The underside appears to be strongly clean with surface corrosion visible on the exhaust system.
