Description

The engine is a hand-built Ford “Terminator” V-8 from the 2003-2004 Mustang SVT Cobra, that is personally signed by its builder. The 4.6-liter DOHC, 32-valve engine features fuel injection and a supercharger and carried a factory rating of 390 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. Ford’s EEC controls were replaced by a tunable Holley Terminator X fuel management system. JBA headers and a stainless-steel exhaust system were also installed, as was an aluminum radiator. Estimated output now of “more than 400 horsepower and 420 pounds-foot” and around 1,900 miles on the engine since its installation. Cold starts are said to be a matter of simply “turning the key,” with no smoke or leaks, per the seller. The T-56 six-speed manual is controlled by a Hurst shifter. The transmission “shifts as new.” The sharp two-tone paint scheme consists of Cadillac Red over black , rates as “show quality.” There are one or two chips, but no blemishes. The car comes with full fenders and running boards that are painted to match the body. It also comes with cycle fenders that are unpainted, however mounting brackets are not included, but are readily available for purchase. An unfinished bolt-on hardtop is also included. The roadster windshield is removed for the three-window coupe conversion. The suicide-style doors have power windows. The laid-back grille boldly proclaims the car’s 1933 Ford styling influence. Equipped with Black Cobra-style racing buckets. The carpet is in “good” condition, but a small piece is missing in the driver’s footwell. The trunk is carpeted to match the interior. Simpson four-point racing harnesses and twin rollbars provide extra safety for the open car. The gauges are Auto Meter items. The leather and billet steering wheel has a Factory Five horn button. The steering wheel is a splined quick disconnect racing design.
